Karunakar Shetty, the dynamic founder of Ship Air Forwarders Pvt. Ship Air was born out of Mr. Shetty's commitment to delivering top-tier logistics services and has since become a leading name in the freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry in India.
As a seasoned logistician, Mr. Shetty excels in planning and implementing efficient logistics solutions, steering his company to specialize in cutting-edge logistics services. He has served as a Managing Committee Member to President of the Brihanmumbai Customs Brokers Association (BCBA) since 1998 and has been a Governing Council Member of the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) since 2006, where he currently holds the position of Vice President.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Shetty is deeply involved in fostering physical development among youth. He holds several key positions in sports associations, including Vice President of Poinsur Gymkhana, President of the Mumbai Upanagar Mallakhamb Association, and a Managing Committee Member of the Karnataka Sporting Association.
His involvement extends into government sectors as well, where he is a member of the Konkan Railway Consultative
Committee, a government of India undertaking.
