Ashish Pednekar : A Distinguished Leader in International Freight and Trade
Ashish Pednekar is the current chairman of USIIC and is a prominent figure in the international freight and trade sector,
renowned for his visionary leadership and extensive industry expertise. He is the Managing Director of GVP Forwarder
Pvt. Ltd., a leading full-service international freight forwarder established in 1937 in India. The company specializes in 'Door-to-Door' and international logistics, boasting offices across India and a global network of associates.
In addition to his role at GVP, Mr. Pednekar holds several key positions in various prestigious organizations. He also
serves as the Chairman of the Trust Board at the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (MACCIA). MACCIA is the apex chamber of the state, affiliated with major national organizations including the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the International Chamber of Commerce – National
Committee.
His involvement extends into government sectors as well, where he is a member of the Konkan Railway Consultative
Committee, a government of India undertaking.
His past roles include serving as a trustee of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust and holding presidential positions at
MACCIA, the Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association, and the Association of Supply Chain Professionals.
