Mehul Pandya is the Managing Director and Group CEO of CareEdge Ratings, India's second-largest credit rating agency, where he heads the entire Group operations. Since joining CareEdge in 2000, Mr. Pandya has amassed over two decades of specialized experience in the rating industry, guiding the organization's strategic and operational initiatives.
A seasoned technocrat with a strong management background, Mr. Pandya holds the prestigious CFA charter from the CFA Institute, USA. His expertise in financial analysis and credit assessment has significantly contributed to CareEdge Ratings' reputation and growth. Under his leadership, CARE has expanded its presence with offices in 9 locations across India and has extended its operations internationally with subsidiaries in Mauritius and Nepal. It has also established a subsidiary in IFSC Gift City and a step down subsidiary in South Africa.
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Mr. Pandya is also an esteemed faculty member at various educational forums. He has shared his insights at the South Asian Regional Forum organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and at workshops conducted by the Association of Credit Rating Agencies in Asia (ACRAA). He is the Vice Chairman of ACRAA and is also a Board member of Association of Indian Rating Agencies.
